Be sure to watch for the Shrimp man during shrimp season, he will park on the corner in the parking lot of Pawleys Island Supply and sell FRESH shrimp by the pound...this is a local and visitor favorite---they always taste great and the price is unbeatable!

Be sure to take a drive 15 minutes South, to the historic seaport City of Georgetown. South Carolina's third oldest city which boasts oak-lined avenues, riverfront shopping and dining, a scenic Harborwalk, dozens of majestic antebellum mansions, and a rich history. Every October the city puts on a wonderful WOODEN BOAT SHOW where thousands flock to see unique boats from all over as well as watch wooden boats being built. It's a super family event.
